This is one of the large genus of tropical ferns. The fronds will grow 36 "long and are a beautiful green. They are a little less pendulant than say Boston. The pinnae are forked so that they resemble a fish tail. These are very rewarding ferns in their beauty as well as their size.  Macho (Giant Boston )Fern  (nephrolepis fulcata)  

This cultivar is the largest of the Boston type ferns.  So rewarding. So easy to grow. Our experience has been that most ferns do well if they are grown in filtered shade. Asparagus Myriocladus (or Retrofractus), is the most beautiful of the ornamental asparagus ferns. Beautiful dense, lacy foliage and stiff stems makes it a joy to grow. Sometimes it will have a bluegreen tint. We also call it Ming fern. It makes a good house plant and it is beautiful on the patio or balcony.
