Native Plants: We grow a wide selection of plants that are native to Central Texas. We've learned they do well in large areas of our country. These plants don't require heavy fertilization and most are drought tolerant.
 

 

Blue Butterfly Clerodendrum is a super summer plant. In zone 8, it grows to about 4 to 5 ft. tall.It starts blooming in June and blooms all summer. Beautiful shaded blue and white blooms. No only do the blooms look like butterflies, it attracts butterflies. This plant makes a great plant for the patio, the border, or any where you need a blooming plant of distinction. This is Texas Gold aquilegia (columbine)one of the earliest blooming plants in the garden. Now’s the time to plant for spring bloom. Texas Gold grows to about 24" tall and about that much around. Beautiful blue-green foliage and evergreen. This is a beautiful addition to your shade garden.  

 

 

 

 
 

 Red Dragon (Persicaria mocrocephala)

 

This beautiful perennial is "Red Dragon" Persicaria microcephala. It grows in shade or high filtered light.This plant is grown for the foliage than bloom.The blooms are small white and stands above the colorful green and maroon pointed leafed foliage.This plant is hardy thru zone 6 and does very well in extreme heat.It needs an average amount of water.It can be used in many applications of landscaping and in pots. 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 Becky daisy is one of best perennial daisy's to grow. It is in the leucanthemum daisy family of which there are Shasta's and others. Becky is the hardiest and the best for cutting. She has sturdy upright stems three feet tall and equally as wide. Three inch wide white flowers with a contrasting yellow center makes for a beautiful site in a clump. She starts blooming in late June or early July, when the Shasta's are finished, just in time for butterfly's. This plant is very drought tolerant,hardy thru zone 4 and another plus: deer do not like it. This is just a great perennial.
