Herbs -One of my favorite plants that we offer for sale I will adding a list of all our Herbs we will have for sale this year. Also some tips and ideals for successful herb growing.

This is a great trailing rosemary. I don't know the varity name, I was given a start of it about 20 yrs. ago. This one blooms more than any variety I have grown. The picture was taken in November and it blooms most of the cool weather. It also looks great in the heat, just not blooming. It doesn't seem to be bothered by any insect or fungus. It is cold tolerant down to about 18 degrees and very drought tolerant.

This is Tuscan Blue Rosemary. It is an upright, dark glossy green herb and gets very full as you can see. A well established plant will be hardy down to 20 degrees so be sure it is planted out side in the spring,in the sun, so its root system will get well established before it gets cold. I have had one out side for about 10 years. Twice we have moved it into a protected place when the temp droped into the teens. Rosemarys need well drained soil and mild fertilizer. It is wonderful for cooking and outside landscaping. I think they are very nice planted in large well draining containers for the patio or anywhere you need an accent pot.
